Mr. Dalton graduated first in his law school class of 1981 from Campbell University School of Law with honors. He has a BS degree with honors from Appalachian State University and graduated from West Henderson High School in Hendersonville, NC.
He has been practicing law primarily in Transylvania, Henderson, Polk and Buncombe Counties for 36 years. He has received a “BV” or Distinguished Rating with Martindale-Hubbell for the past twenty years based on peer review. He has an active trial practice in all areas of criminal law from traffic offenses to capital murder and has been on the approval list for Capital Trial Lead Counsel for over twenty years. Mr. Dalton also handles criminal law, family law, estate law, and personal injury law.
Maggie was born in Brevard but traveled with her family until they moved back permanently when she was in 4th grade. She graduated AB Tech in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Technology. She has worked in the legal field since 2016 and hopes to continue. Maggie is a proud mom to her baby boy Bellamy and dog mom to her favorite furry fella Chubs.
Jessa was born in Chicago and has lived in North Carolina about four years. She is planning to go back to school regarding Paralegal Studies but already has a BA in Psychology and a Culinary Arts Degree. She enjoys cooking and baking and spending time with her favorite furry fella, Moose.
Dalton Law Office, PLLC was formed in October 2015 but the roots of the organization are much deeper than that. Tony Dalton purchased his former firm after a death in the management structure. Dalton Law stayed in the former location until 2018 when they moved just a few blocks down the street to the current location, 210 South Caldwell Street, Unit C in Brevard, North Carolina.
Although staff has changed over the years, the constant has been Tony C. Dalton. Under his leadership, Dalton Law Office remains one of the premier criminal defense firms in the area. Mr. Dalton has also seen his practice expand in other areas including civil matters, estate planning, and real estate.
